What are School Psychology Services?

School Psychologists are uniquely qualified members of school teams who support students' ability to learn and teachers' ability to teach. They apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. STS provides credentialed school psychologists to school districts and charter schools across Southern California. Our school psychologists conduct psychoeducational assessments, support IEP teams, provide consultation on behavior and mental health, and deliver direct counseling and intervention services. They serve as critical members of the school team — bridging the gap between education, mental health, and behavioral support. School psychology services are available in-person and via teletherapy.
